Free up app storage

Free up Adobe Express storage

Adobe Express keeps projects in your Adobe account. Adobe documents Your stuff as the file list, not a WhatsApp-style Free up Storage screen. What fills the phone is cache and files you exported to Photos or Files. Unsynced local drafts can still be local-only.

See how much space Adobe Express is using

  1. Open Adobe Express.
  2. Open the menu and tap Your stuff.

Cloud files live on the Adobe ID. Phone Settings shows the local app total, which is a different number.

iPhone

  1. Open iPhone Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Adobe Express.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Adobe Express > Storage or Storage and cache.

Delete files in Your stuff

  1. From Home, open the menu, then tap Your stuff.
  2. Tap the more options icon, then tap Select.
  3. Select files or a folder you no longer need.
  4. Tap Delete and confirm.

Adobe Help documents this bulk delete. Export a PNG, JPG, PDF, or MP4 first if you still want a local copy. Editable Express files stay in the cloud unless you delete them here.

Exports in Photos or Files

Share / download writes a finished image or video outside Express. Delete extra exports in Photos, Files, or Downloads, including Recently Deleted / Trash. Those copies do not update when you edit the cloud file later.

Clear Adobe Express cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Adobe Express.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Adobe Express. Stay online until recent edits finish saving.

iPhone does not offer a separate Adobe Express cache button. Delete files in Your stuff first, then offload the app if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Adobe Express still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Cloud files stay on your Adobe account. Export keepers if you want a local copy. Unsynced drafts can be lost.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install Adobe Express again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After Adobe Express is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
