Free up Block Blast storage
Block Blast keeps level art, sound, and a lot of ad video on the phone. The game itself is small. The cache is usually ads and seasonal assets. High scores stay on the device unless you signed in.
See how much space Block Blast is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Block Blast.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Block Blast.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
There is no resource manager. Android cache is the honest cleanup.
Clear leftover ads and level cache
Ad clips are the usual reason a casual puzzle looks large in iPhone Storage. Clearing Android cache drops those files. Your current run may reset its local streak if the game stored that only on device.
Sign in or connect an account in Block Blast settings if the game offers one, then clear cache.
Clear Block Blast cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Block Blast.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Block Blast on this phone. Local scores and lives can reset if they were never synced.
iPhone does not offer a separate Block Blast cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Block Blast still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- If Block Blast offers an account or cloud save, sign in first. Many puzzle scores stay only on this phone, so a reinstall can reset local progress.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Block Blast again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Block Blast is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
