Free up Brawl Stars storage
Brawl Stars keeps map files, skins, and replay cache on the phone. Brawlers, trophies, and gems live on your Supercell ID. The leftover is seasonal maps and voice lines.
See how much space Brawl Stars is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Brawl Stars.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Brawl Stars.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Like other Supercell games, there is no full in-app resource cleaner. Cache is the local part.
What you can clear
Replays and downloaded map skins sit on the device. Use Android Clear cache. Your brawler list is not in that cache.
Confirm Supercell ID
- Open Brawl Stars and tap the gear.
- Open Supercell ID or Connected accounts.
- Make sure you can sign in after a reinstall.
Clear Brawl Stars cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Brawl Stars.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Brawl Stars on this phone. That signs you out. The account stays on the Supercell ID.
iPhone does not offer a separate Brawl Stars cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Brawl Stars still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Confirm your Supercell ID first. Brawlers and trophies stay on Supercell servers. Map cache downloads again.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Brawl Stars again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Brawl Stars is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
