Free up app storage

Free up Clash Royale storage

Clash Royale caches card art, emotes, and battle replays. Your cards, trophies, and gold live on your Supercell ID. The phone mostly holds seasonal downloads.

See how much space Clash Royale is using

iPhone

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap Clash Royale.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
  2. Tap Clash Royale.
  3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

There is no large in-app resource cleaner. Cache is what you can drop.

What you can clear

Replays and event art sit locally. Android Clear cache removes them. Your chest cycle and card levels are in the cloud.

Confirm Supercell ID

  1. Open Clash Royale and tap the gear.
  2. Open Supercell ID or Connected accounts.
  3. Confirm you can sign in after a reinstall.

Clear Clash Royale cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Clash Royale.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Clash Royale on this phone. That signs you out. The deck stays on the Supercell ID.

iPhone does not offer a separate Clash Royale cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Clash Royale still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Confirm your Supercell ID first. Cards and trophies stay on Supercell servers. Replay cache downloads again.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install Clash Royale again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After Clash Royale is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
