Free up DAZN storage
DAZN stores matches you save for offline viewing and keeps a large live cache after a long event. Your list and history stay on your account. Removing a download only deletes the file on this phone.
See how much space DAZN is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap DAZN.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps.
- Tap DAZN.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
DAZN does not have a WhatsApp-style storage screen. Open Downloads or My Downloads for saved matches.
Delete downloads
- Open DAZN and go to Downloads or My Downloads (sometimes under your profile).
- Remove matches or shows you do not need offline.
Full matches are large. Live events you already watched usually sit in cache, not in Downloads. Clear cache after a long fight or game.
Change download settings
- Open DAZN Settings from your profile.
- Open Downloads or video quality if listed.
- Set a lower download quality, and turn off cellular downloads if that toggle is shown.
Clear DAZN cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > DAZN.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset DAZN on this phone. That signs you out and removes local downloads. Your list stays on the account.
iPhone does not offer a separate DAZN cache button. Delete items under Downloads, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and DAZN still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Downloads will need to be re-downloaded after you sign in. Your account keeps My List and watch history.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install DAZN again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After DAZN is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
