Free up app storage

Free up foodpanda storage

foodpanda caches restaurant photos, panda mart product shots, and rider chat images. Orders and pandapro stay on your foodpanda account. Store media is the local leftover.

See how much space foodpanda is using

iPhone

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap foodpanda.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
  2. Tap foodpanda.
  3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Food plus panda mart photos add up after a few months of browsing.

Restaurant and mart photo cache

foodpanda does not always show an in-app cache button. Use Android Clear cache. Past orders stay in the account.

Chat files

Rider or vendor chat can include photos. Save anything you need for a dispute, then clear cache. Receipts stay on the account.

Clear foodpanda cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > foodpanda.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset foodpanda on this phone. That signs you out. Order history stays on the account.

iPhone does not offer a separate foodpanda cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and foodpanda still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Orders, pandapro, and payment methods stay on your foodpanda account. Sign in again after reinstall.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install foodpanda again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After foodpanda is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
