Free up Gojek storage

Gojek caches map tiles, merchant photos, and chat images from drivers or GoFood. Rides, orders, and GoPay stay on your Gojek account. Maps and chat files are the local leftover.

iPhone

Open the iPhone Settings app.
Tap General > iPhone Storage.
Tap Gojek.

Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
Tap Gojek.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Gojek is rides, food, and payments in one app. Photo cache adds up after a few months of browsing.

Maps and store photo cache

Official Gojek help for app issues is Android Settings > Apps > Gojek > Storage > Clear cache. Past trips and GoFood orders stay in Activity.

Chat files

Driver or merchant chat can include photos. Save anything you need for a dispute, then clear cache. Receipts stay on the account.

Clear Gojek cache on Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps > Gojek.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Gojek on this phone. That signs you out. History stays on the account.

iPhone does not offer a separate Gojek cache button. Official iOS help is to close the app and restart the phone, or offload / reinstall in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Gojek still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

Rides, orders, and GoPay stay on your Gojek account. Sign in again after reinstall.
Delete the app from your phone.
Restart your phone.
Install Gojek again from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
