Aisle maps and product photos

  1. Open The Home Depot and tap Account.
  2. Open Settings if listed.
  3. Look for Clear cache or Storage. Most versions have no such row.

If there is no in-app button, use Android Clear cache below. The next store trip downloads maps again.

Project lists vs Downloads

iPhone does not offer a separate Home Depot cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and The Home Depot still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Orders, lists, and Pro Xtra stay on your Home Depot account. You only need to sign in again after reinstall.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install The Home Depot again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
