Free up app storage

Free up Homescapes storage

Homescapes keeps mansion rooms, match-3 level files, and event art on the phone. Austin's house progress and coins stay on your Playrix account once the game is connected. Official help documents Android cache clear. There is no in-app Free up Storage button.

See how much space Homescapes is using

iPhone

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap Homescapes.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
  2. Tap Homescapes.
  3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Room assets and leftover level cache are usually larger than the save itself.

Clear cache the way Playrix documents

  1. Open your device Settings and tap Apps.
  2. Tap Homescapes.
  3. Tap Storage, then Clear Cache.
  4. Confirm if asked, then restart the game.

Playrix's Homescapes Help Center lists those Android steps for leftover files and some bugs. Homescapes does not offer a room-by-room resource delete screen. Do not use account deletion in Settings. That removes the account, not just cache.

Connect the account before a reset

  1. Open Homescapes and tap Settings.
  2. Confirm Facebook, Google, Apple, or another linked login if the game offers it.
  3. Use Help and Support only if the mansion does not return after you sign in.

Playrix keeps house progress in the cloud after the game is connected. Level and room files download again when you open them.

Clear Homescapes cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Homescapes.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Homescapes on this phone. That signs you out. House progress stays on the connected account.

iPhone does not offer a separate Homescapes cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Homescapes still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Confirm the linked Playrix / Facebook / Apple / Google login first. House progress stays in the cloud. Level cache and room assets download again.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install Homescapes again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After Homescapes is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
