Free up Last War: Survival storage

Last War: Survival keeps base art, troop models, and event cache on the phone. The base, heroes, and purchases stay on the server after you sign in. Official crash help says to wipe the game cache. There is no WhatsApp-style Free up Storage button.

See how much space Last War: Survival is using

iPhone

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap Last War: Survival.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
  2. Tap Last War: Survival.
  3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Base assets and leftover event files are usually the extra space, not the base save.

Wipe the game cache if Settings lists it

  1. Open Last War: Survival and tap your avatar.
  2. Open Settings, then General Settings if that page is shown.
  3. Tap Clear Cache or a similar wipe-cache control only if the game shows it.
  4. Confirm and let the game restart.

Official Last War support for crashes and black screens says to adjust graphics, wipe background processes, update the game, wipe the game cache, restart the device, and free device storage. Exact button wording can vary. Do not invent a button that is not there.

Sign in before you reset

  1. Confirm you can sign in with the email, Google Play, or Apple login tied to this base.
  2. Official account recovery asks for character ID, first purchase, and device details at support@lastwar.com if you lose access.

The base stays on the account. Event cache and base assets download again after a cache wipe or reinstall.

Clear Last War: Survival cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Last War: Survival.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Last War: Survival on this phone. That signs you out. The base stays on the signed-in account.

iPhone does not offer a separate Last War: Survival cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Last War: Survival still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Sign in with the email or store account tied to this base first. Heroes and the base stay in the cloud. Base assets and event cache download again.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install Last War: Survival again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After Last War: Survival is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
