Free up Likee storage
Likee caches short videos as you scroll and keeps drafts and effects on this phone. Posted videos stay on your account. Likee does not have a WhatsApp-style Free up Storage chat list.
See how much space Likee is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Likee.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Likee.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Clear cache in Likee if the button is there
- Open Likee and tap Me (profile).
- Open Settings (gear).
- Tap Clear cache or Storage if you see it, then confirm.
Do not invent a missing Free up Storage screen. If Settings has no cache row, use Android Clear cache or offload on iPhone.
Delete drafts
- Tap create / the camera button.
- Open Drafts.
- Delete clips you do not need. Save a copy to Photos first if you still want the video.
Drafts live on this phone. Clearing cache usually keeps them. Reinstalling or clearing app data does not.
Stop saving copies to Gallery
When you post or export, uncheck save to album if Likee offers it. Delete extra copies in Photos or Gallery, including Recently Deleted / Trash.
Clear Likee cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Likee.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Likee. That signs you out and can delete local drafts.
iPhone does not offer a separate Likee cache button. Use in-app Clear cache if present, or offload the app in iPhone Storage.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Likee still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Posted videos stay on Likee. Save drafts you still want to Photos first.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Likee again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Likee is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
