Free up Nike storage
Nike caches product photos, Member stories, and size-chart art. Favorites and orders stay on your Nike Member account. Nike Help does not document an in-app storage cleaner. SNKRS is a separate app if you also use that.
See how much space Nike is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Nike.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Nike.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Sneaker photos are the local leftover. Orders stay on the Member profile.
Product photos
Nike keeps listing images so the catalog scrolls. That cache is safe to drop. Favorites and your cart stay on the account.
- Open Nike and tap Profile.
- Open Settings if listed.
- Look for Clear cache or Storage. Most versions have no such row.
If there is no in-app button, use Android Clear cache below.
Orders stay on the Member account
Nike Help: Profile > Orders to track, cancel, or start a return. That history is account data. It is not phone cache. Nike Help for sign-in problems also says restart Wi-Fi, or uninstall, restart the phone, and reinstall. That is troubleshooting, not a storage feature.
SNKRS is a different app
Launch stories and drop video live in SNKRS if you installed it. Clear that cache under the SNKRS app name in phone Settings. Nike shopping cache is only this app.
Clear Nike cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Nike.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Nike on this phone. That signs you out. Orders stay on the Member account.
iPhone does not offer a separate Nike cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Nike still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Orders, Favorites, and your Nike Member profile stay on the account. You only need to sign in again after reinstall.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Nike again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Nike is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
