Free up pCloud storage

pCloud files live in your pCloud account. This phone stores Offline folders, media you previewed, Camera Upload items still sending, and cache. Clearing cache does not delete pCloud files. Trash does.

See how much space pCloud is using

iPhone

Open the iPhone Settings app.
Tap General > iPhone Storage.
Tap pCloud.

Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps.
Tap pCloud.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Remove Offline folders

Open pCloud.
Open Offline.
Remove folders and files you do not need on this phone.

They stay in pCloud. Only the local copies are removed.

Camera Upload

Open pCloud settings.
Open Camera Upload.
Turn it off if you do not want new photos copied into pCloud.

Confirm a photo is in pCloud before you delete it from Photos. Do not delete the only unbacked-up copy.

Media cache

Open pCloud settings and look for Clear cache or media cache.
Clear it. Previews download again when you open a file.

Cache is not Trash. Offline files stay until you remove them from Offline.

Trash

Files you delete in pCloud go to Trash. Emptying Trash is a permanent account delete after any remaining retention. That frees pCloud quota.

Clear pCloud cache on Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps > pCloud.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to sign out. Pending Camera Upload items on this phone can be lost.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and pCloud still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

Files already in pCloud stay. Finish Camera Upload and any files still transferring. Offline copies should already exist in the account; confirm before you delete the app.
Delete the app from your phone.
Restart your phone.
Install pCloud again from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
