Free up Remini storage
Remini enhances photos and can keep AI Photo working files on this phone. Remini Help says downloads save to your Gallery, not to an in-app library. There is no WhatsApp-style Free up Storage screen. Exports and cache are the local leftover.
See how much space Remini is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Remini.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Remini.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
The bigger number is often the saved copies in Photos or Gallery, not Remini itself.
Delete extra exports in Photos
- Open Photos or Gallery.
- Find Remini saves (often next to the original, or in a Remini album / folder).
- Delete extras you do not need, then empty Recently Deleted / Trash.
Remini Help says results are saved to the Gallery folder, not stored as an app history. If you never saved an enhancement, Remini cannot restore it.
AI Photos profile
- Open Remini and go to AI Photos.
- On Android, open Settings and tap Delete AI Profile if you no longer want that model.
- On iPhone, open the profile icon in AI Photos to manage or replace a profile.
Remini Help documents this when you want a new training set. It is not a full storage wipe. Exports already in Photos stay until you delete them there.
Clear Remini cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Remini.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Remini. Save keepers to Photos first. Remini does not keep a cloud gallery of enhancements.
iPhone does not offer a separate Remini cache button. Clean Photos first, then offload or delete the app in iPhone Storage if the total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Remini still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Saved enhancements live in Photos or Gallery. Remini does not keep a cloud history. Export keepers before you delete the app.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Remini again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Remini is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
