Free up Revolut storage
Revolut caches statement previews, card art, and in-app chat images. Balances and activity stay on your Revolut account. Keep the statements you need. This page is cache only.
See how much space Revolut is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Revolut.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Revolut.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
If Revolut looks large, check Files for PDFs you generated before you blame the app cache.
Documents & statements stay on the account
Revolut Help: tap your profile icon > Documents & statements. Or Home > Accounts > a currency > More (...) > Statement, then generate PDF or Excel. Do not delete those files if you still need them. The account can generate them again.
Support chat media
Revolut Help: profile > Help (or Chats > Support) opens in-app chat. Photos you sent for a dispute can sit in cache. Save anything you still need for a case, then clear cache. Chat history and payments stay on the account.
Cache only
Revolut does not document an in-app storage cleaner. Android Clear cache drops previews and chat thumbnails. It does not close the account or cancel cards.
Clear Revolut cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Revolut.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Revolut on this phone. That signs you out. Money stays on the Revolut account. You may need passcode and device checks again.
iPhone does not offer a separate Revolut cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Revolut still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Balances and history stay on Revolut. Sign in again after reinstall. You may need your passcode and a device check.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Revolut again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Revolut is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
