Free up Rise of Kingdoms storage
Rise of Kingdoms keeps civilization art, commander models, and replay leftovers on the phone. The city, troops, and gems stay on Lilith servers after you sign in with Facebook or Google. Official mobile help does not list an in-app storage cleaner.
See how much space Rise of Kingdoms is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Rise of Kingdoms.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Rise of Kingdoms.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Civilization assets and leftover battle files are usually the extra space, not the city save.
Rise of Kingdoms has no in-app cleaner
Lilith does not publish a Free up Storage or unused-civilization delete screen for mobile. Official Customer Service is in-game: avatar > Settings > Customer Service. That chat does not delete map files. Android Clear cache is the first real cleanup. Replays and extra art come back as you play.
Sign in before you reset
- Open Rise of Kingdoms and confirm Facebook or Google login.
- Official PC notes use the same Facebook or Google sign-in. Mobile recovery follows that account.
- Do not clear data on a guest city.
The city stays on the signed-in account. Civilization assets and replay cache download again after a reset.
Clear Rise of Kingdoms cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Rise of Kingdoms.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Rise of Kingdoms on this phone. That signs you out. The city stays on the Facebook or Google account.
iPhone does not offer a separate Rise of Kingdoms cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Rise of Kingdoms still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Sign in with Facebook or Google first. The city stays on that account. Civilization assets and replay cache download again.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Rise of Kingdoms again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Rise of Kingdoms is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
