Free up Royal Match storage
Royal Match stores level art, castle decorations, and ad videos. Stars and boosters stay on your Dream Games account if you are signed in. Cache is the local leftover after long events.
See how much space Royal Match is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap Royal Match.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap Royal Match.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
There is no repair menu. Link the account, then clear cache.
Clear level and ad cache
Event videos and level backgrounds are cache. Android Clear cache is the safe first step. Your castle progress stays on the account after you sign in.
Confirm cloud save
- Open Royal Match settings.
- Confirm Apple, Google, Facebook, or Dream Games sign-in.
Guest progress can stay only on this phone.
Clear Royal Match cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Royal Match.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Royal Match on this phone. Unlinked guest progress can disappear.
iPhone does not offer a separate Royal Match cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Royal Match still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Sign in first. Castle and level progress are usually in the cloud after that. Guest progress can stay only on this phone.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Royal Match again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Royal Match is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
