Free up Rumble storage
Rumble Premium can download videos for offline playback on iPhone and Android. Those files sit on this phone under Downloads. Follows and watch history stay on your account. Uninstalling the app removes downloads.
See how much space Rumble is using
- Open Rumble and tap Account in the bottom bar.
- Scroll to Downloads (under Watch History). Tap View all if needed.
Fully saved videos show a Downloaded label. That list is what is on this phone.
iPhone
- Open iPhone Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Rumble.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Rumble > Storage or Storage and cache.
There is no WhatsApp-style Free up Storage screen. Downloads are the main local videos.
Remove downloaded videos
- Open Account > Downloads.
- Tap the menu next to a title.
- Tap Remove Downloaded Video and confirm Delete Video.
Or open the video, find the Downloaded control next to Save, tap it, and confirm. This only removes the offline copy. The video stays on Rumble.
Stop new downloads
Offline download is a Premium feature and currently requires Wi-Fi. Do not tap Download on feeds or on a video if you are trying to keep Rumble small. Losing Premium also removes access to offline files.
Clear Rumble cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > Rumble.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Rumble. That signs you out. Downloads are already gone if you uninstall.
iPhone does not offer a separate Rumble cache button. Remove downloads inside Rumble, then offload the app if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and Rumble still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Your account stays on Rumble. Offline downloads live only on this phone and vanish if you uninstall.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install Rumble again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After Rumble is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
