Free up STARZ storage

STARZ stores movies and episodes you save for offline viewing on this phone. Profiles, My List, and watch history stay on your STARZ account. Removing a download only deletes the local file. STARZ also auto-removes downloads after two weeks, or sooner if the license ends.

See how much space STARZ is using

iPhone

1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
3. Tap STARZ.

Android

1. Open your phone Settings > Apps.
2. Tap STARZ.
3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

STARZ does not have a WhatsApp-style storage screen. Open My List to see downloaded titles at the top.

Delete downloads from My List

1. Open STARZ and tap the menu in the center of the menu bar.
2. Tap My List. Downloaded titles appear at the top.
3. Open a downloaded title and remove or delete the download.

STARZ allows up to 25 downloads across 6 devices. Files stay on internal storage (they cannot go to an SD card). The show stays in My List and can be downloaded again later if it is still eligible.

Download over Wi-Fi

1. Connect to Wi-Fi before you tap the download arrow on a title page.
2. Wait until the title finishes before you leave the app.

STARZ sets video quality automatically. There is no in-app quality picker. New downloads over Wi-Fi keep cellular data unused. Titles already on the phone stay until you remove them or they expire.

Clear STARZ cache on Android

1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > STARZ.
2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset STARZ on this phone. That signs you out and removes local downloads. My List and history stay on your account.

iPhone does not offer a separate STARZ cache button. Delete items under My List, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and STARZ still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

1. Downloads will need to be re-downloaded after you sign in. Your STARZ account keeps My List, profiles, and watch history.
2. Delete the app from your phone.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Install STARZ again from the App Store or Google Play.
5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
