Free up app storage

Free up Suno storage

Songs you make stay in your Suno library online. The phone gets large when you download those tracks, plus preview cache. Clearing cache does not delete songs in your Suno account. Downloaded files in Music, Files, or Downloads are the real local hog.

See how much space Suno is using

iPhone

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap Suno.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap Suno.
  3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Also check Music, Files, and Downloads. A song you exported is often stored there, not only inside Suno.

Delete downloaded songs

  1. Open the Files or Downloads app.
  2. Find Suno MP3 / WAV / video exports and delete the ones you do not need on this phone.
  3. On iPhone, also check the Music app and Files > On My iPhone / Downloads.
  4. Empty Recently Deleted / Trash if the Files app keeps one.

The same song can still play from your Suno library after you delete the local file. Re-download it later if you want it offline again.

Skip extra local copies

  1. In Suno, avoid Download / Export unless you want a file on the phone.
  2. If Suno offers save to Camera Roll for cover clips, turn that off or skip Save.

Streaming a track in the app uses cache. That cache comes back as you listen. Downloads are the part you control by deleting files.

Clear Suno cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Suno.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to sign out and reset Suno. Your library stays in the Suno account. Downloaded files outside the app stay until you delete them in Files.

iPhone does not offer a separate Suno cache button. Delete exports first, then offload or reinstall if the app listing is still large.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Suno still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Songs stay in your Suno library. Keep any downloads you still want in Files or Music. Reinstalling does not delete songs on your Suno account.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install Suno again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After Suno is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
