Free up My Talking Tom 2 storage
My Talking Tom 2 stores character outfits, room art, and recordings you made with Tom. The pet and room can stay on this phone unless you linked an Outfit7 account. Treat recordings as your files, not junk cache.
See how much space My Talking Tom 2 is using
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap General > iPhone Storage.
- Tap My Talking Tom 2.
Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
- Tap My Talking Tom 2.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Recordings and a local pet are user data. Event art is cache.
Save recordings you want to keep
- Open My Talking Tom 2.
- Open the recordings or camera area if you saved videos of Tom.
- Export or share copies to Photos / Files before you clear the app.
Clearing cache may leave those files. Clearing data or deleting the app can remove them.
Link the pet before a reset
- Open settings inside the game.
- Sign in with Outfit7, Apple, or Google if that option is there.
- Then use Android Clear cache for event art and ads.
An unlinked pet can stay only on this device.
Clear My Talking Tom 2 cache on Android
- Open your phone Settings > Apps > My Talking Tom 2.
- Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset My Talking Tom 2 on this phone. An unlinked pet and recordings can disappear. That is not just cache.
iPhone does not offer a separate My Talking Tom 2 cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.
Reinstall the app if storage is still high
If you already cleaned media and My Talking Tom 2 still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.
- Sign in to Outfit7 if the game offers it, and save any Tom recordings you want. The pet can stay only on this phone if it was never linked.
- Delete the app from your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Install My Talking Tom 2 again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.
This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
What to do next
After My Talking Tom 2 is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
