Free up Truth Social storage

Truth Social caches photos and videos from the feed. Posted truths stay on your account. Drafts and unsynced media can stay on this phone. There is no WhatsApp-style Free up Storage screen.

See how much space Truth Social is using

iPhone

1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
3. Tap Truth Social.

Android

1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
2. Tap Truth Social.
3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Delete drafts

1. Open compose.
2. If a draft restores, open it and discard it, or delete it from a drafts list if Truth Social shows one.

Posted truths stay on the account. Unsynced drafts with video are the local risk before a reinstall.

Saved copies in Photos or Gallery

If you saved an image or video from a post, that file is in Photos or Gallery. Delete extras there, including Recently Deleted / Trash.

Clear Truth Social cache on Android

1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Truth Social.
2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Truth Social. That signs you out and can delete unsynced drafts.

iPhone does not offer a separate Truth Social cache button. Offload or delete the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Truth Social still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

1. Posts stay on Truth Social. Save drafts you still want first.
2. Delete the app from your phone.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Install Truth Social again from the App Store or Google Play.
5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
