Free up app storage

Free up Whiteout Survival storage

Whiteout Survival keeps city art, furnace upgrades, and event cache on the phone. The city, heroes, and gems stay on the server after you bind the game. Century Games documents account binding and crash steps. There is no in-app Free up Storage button.

See how much space Whiteout Survival is using

iPhone

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap Whiteout Survival.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
  2. Tap Whiteout Survival.
  3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

City assets and leftover event files are usually the extra space, not the city save.

Whiteout Survival has no in-app cleaner

Official Century Games help does not list a resource-delete screen. Crash guidance is to install the latest version from Google Play or the App Store, close background apps, confirm a working network and enough storage, then reboot the device. That is troubleshooting. It does not invent a cleanup button.

Bind the account before you reset

  1. Open Whiteout Survival and open Settings.
  2. Bind the game to Facebook, Google Play, Apple, or Game Center. Official help lists those options.
  3. Confirm you can sign in with that account on another device.

Binding saves progress and lets you recover the city after an update or reinstall. Without a bind, local progress can stay stuck on this phone.

Clear Whiteout Survival cache on Android

  1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Whiteout Survival.
  2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
  3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Whiteout Survival on this phone. That signs you out. The city stays on the bound account. Event cache downloads again.

iPhone does not offer a separate Whiteout Survival cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Whiteout Survival still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

  1. Bind Facebook, Google Play, Apple, or Game Center first. The city stays on that account. City assets and event cache download again.
  2. Delete the app from your phone.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Install Whiteout Survival again from the App Store or Google Play.
  5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.

What to do next

After Whiteout Survival is lighter, check your photo library for duplicates and similar shots. That is what Dedupo is for.
