Free up Wuthering Waves storage

Wuthering Waves keeps map resources, voice packs, and optional region downloads on the phone. Resonators, Astrite, and story progress stay on your Kuro Games account. Official mobile notes list Resource Download Options and Resource Cleanup. There is no WhatsApp-style Free up Storage button.

iPhone

Open the iPhone Settings app.
Tap General > iPhone Storage.
Tap Wuthering Waves.

Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
Tap Wuthering Waves.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Unused language packs and map environment files are the usual extras.

Use Resource Cleanup

Open Wuthering Waves and open the menu, then the gear (Settings).
Open Resource Cleanup or Resource Download if listed.
Remove unused map environment resources or completed instance files the screen offers.
Skip optional region packs you do not travel to, if the download list lets you leave them undownloaded.

Kuro's mobile notes describe Resource Cleanup for certain map environment resources. Wording can vary by version. Cleanup is not the same as Repair. Repair re-downloads files.

Remove unused voice packs

Open Settings and go to Language Settings or the language / subtitles tab.
Open Manage Voice Packs or Language Voice Packs.
Uninstall English, Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin packs you do not use. Keep the one you play with.

Official updates also added a Voice Resource cleanup option for unused packs. Switching voice language can download a new pack first. Use Wi-Fi.

Clear Wuthering Waves cache on Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps > Wuthering Waves.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Wuthering Waves on this phone. That signs you out. Cloud progress stays on the Kuro account. Maps and voice packs download again as you play.

iPhone does not offer a separate Wuthering Waves cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Wuthering Waves still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

Sign in to your Kuro Games account first. Resonators, Astrite, and story progress stay on the account. Map resources and voice packs download again when needed.
Delete the app from your phone.
Restart your phone.
Install Wuthering Waves again from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
