Free up ZEE5 storage

ZEE5 stores movies and episodes you save for offline viewing, plus a watch cache so the next title starts quickly. My Watchlist stays on your account. Removing a download only deletes the file on this phone.

See how much space ZEE5 is using

iPhone

Open the iPhone Settings app.
Tap General > iPhone Storage.
Tap ZEE5.

Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps.
Tap ZEE5.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

ZEE5 does not have a WhatsApp-style storage screen. Open Downloads or My Downloads.

Delete downloads

Open ZEE5 and tap Downloads or My Downloads (sometimes under your profile).
Tap a title and remove the download.

Movies and full seasons are the largest items. The title stays in My Watchlist and can be downloaded again later.

Change download settings

Open your profile and tap Settings.
Open Downloads if listed.
Set a lower download quality, and turn off cellular downloads if that toggle is shown.

Clear ZEE5 cache on Android

Open your phone Settings > Apps > ZEE5.
Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset ZEE5 on this phone. That signs you out and removes local downloads. My Watchlist stays on your account.

iPhone does not offer a separate ZEE5 cache button. Delete items under Downloads, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and ZEE5 still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

Downloads will need to be re-downloaded after you sign in. Your account keeps My Watchlist and watch history.
Delete the app from your phone.
Restart your phone.
Install ZEE5 again from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
