Free up Zenless Zone Zero storage

Zenless Zone Zero stores voice packs, pre-downloads, and unused story or combat resources on the phone. Agents, Polychrome, and Hollow progress stay on your HoYoverse account. Official help covers voice packs and stuck resource downloads. There is no WhatsApp-style Free up Storage screen.

iPhone

1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
2. Tap General > iPhone Storage.
3. Tap Zenless Zone Zero.

Android

1. Open your phone Settings > Apps (or Apps and notifications).
2. Tap Zenless Zone Zero.
3. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.

Extra voice languages and leftover download packages are the usual extra gigabytes.

Manage voice packs

1. Open Zenless Zone Zero and open the Phone menu.
2. Open Settings.
3. Go to Language > Settings > Voice > Voice Pack Resource Management.
4. Keep the language you play in. Remove the others.

HoYoverse lists this path for installing or removing English, Japanese, Chinese, or Korean voice packs. New content for the selected pack can download on its own. Prefer Wi-Fi.

Resource downloads

1. Open Settings and look for Download Resources, Resources, or Resource Management.
2. Delete leftover pre-download or unused resource packs if ZZZ lists a delete control.
3. If a download is stuck, switch networks before you reset anything.

Official mobile help for a stuck download is device Settings > App Management > Zenless Zone Zero > Storage > Clear Data. That is a reset, not a cache clear. Only use it if you accept a full re-download.

Clear Zenless Zone Zero cache on Android

1. Open your phone Settings > Apps > Zenless Zone Zero.
2. Tap Storage or Storage and cache.
3. Tap Clear cache.

Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data unless you mean to reset Zenless Zone Zero on this phone. That signs you out. Cloud progress stays on the HoYoverse account. Resources download again on the next launch.

iPhone does not offer a separate Zenless Zone Zero cache button. Use the in-app steps on this page, or offload the app in iPhone Storage if the system total stays high.

Reinstall the app if storage is still high

If you already cleaned media and Zenless Zone Zero still looks huge, a fresh install can clear leftover cache and temp files that are hard to reach by hand.

1. Sign in to HoYoverse first. Agents, Polychrome, and Hollow progress stay on the account. Voice packs and unused resources download again when needed.
2. Delete the app from your phone.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Install Zenless Zone Zero again from the App Store or Google Play.
5. Sign in and restore from backup if the app offers it.

This often frees a lot of space. You may need to download some media again after restore.
